  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • With schools about to open, the focus shifts from finding relaxation to finding wisdom. No greater need is there than to find the wisdom of Christ’s cross for our eternal salvation. We hope you find that lesson in today’s service.

  3. Welcome toSt. Peter! • There are friendship registers at the end of each row of chairs. • Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today. • Thank you!

  4. For Our Guests • If you have questions, let us try to help. Speak with an usher, greeter, or the person next to you. • If you’d like to learn more about St. Peter and its ministry, please talk to a pastor or member after the service.

  6. Prayer before Worship • Lord, grant that my worship may be acceptable in your sight. Help me to focus on your cross as the source of true wisdom for there is no greater knowledge than knowing you as the loving Savior of all sinners – especially me! To your glory, I worship you. Amen.

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

  10. Sharing Jesus With Others • A new Bible Information Class will begin at Key to Life at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 24th • Informational flyers are available from the kiosk in the entryway at church.

  11. Fellowship Coffee Hour Coordinator and Servers Needed Contact Pastor D if you can help with either need.

  12. Men’s Club Monday, August 24 is opening night for another Men’s Club year. Meet in the church kitchen by 6:00 PM when our supper is served by Jeff Canniff and Mark Frailing. The highly anticipated door prize will be sponsored by Scott Huebner.
