  2. Introduction Engineering is one of the most popular courses as a huge number of candidates are keen on pursuing engineering. This is because of the popularity that a huge number of colleges are mushrooming across the length and breadth of every state. Following suit, the state of Telangana is also witnessing a rise in the number of colleges. So, mentioned here are the top engineering colleges in Telangana rank wise.

  3. IIT Hyderabad The first in the list is the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Established in 2008, this institute offers 8 undergraduate courses that include Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Chemical, Civil, Metallurgy and Material Engineering. The total intake is about 200. The admission is via JEE Advanced. The aspirant would need to appear for JEE Main and after qualifying the Main exam and clearing the cut-off for Advanced he would need to appear for the JEE advanced.

  4. NIT Warangal National Institute of Technology, Warangal offers 8 courses in engineering. The admission in undergraduate courses is via the JEE Main and the total intake is about 740 including all the 8 branches of the undergraduate program.

  5. University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad University College of Engineering, Osmania University was established in the year 1929 by the government. It is affiliated to Osmania University. It offers engineering in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Electrical and Communications Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.

  6. JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad This AICTE approved government college was established in the year 1965. The intake in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering is 420.

  7. IIIT, Hyderabad IIIT or International Institute of Information Technology is a Public Private Partnership establishment in 1998. It offers Computer Science Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering in the undergraduate courses. The total course intake is 190.
