Welcome to an App Exploration • I have compiled this list of Apps to check out • I have tried some of them, but not all • Some may be wonderful, others not really what you want or need • The trick is, check them out, and look for others! • I have tried to organize them by content area and teacher productivity • Enjoy!

  3. Apps for Teachers/Productivity • Evernote-Free-note keeper that will sync with all your computers, phones, etc • Nearpod-free-Teacher creates content at www.nearpod.com. Then, send content/presentation/lesson to student devices. Teacher moves slides, which move on student devices • GoClass-free-similar to Nearpod • Apps Gone Free-sign up for daily alerts for apps that are free for a day or so

  4. More Apps for Teacher Productivity • Knowmia Teach-free-get videos or upload your own. Would be great for flipping • Educreations-free-website and I Pad app for creating lessons on a digital whiteboard, then recording what is happening • Gameshow Buzz Button-free-fun for review activities • Mastery Connect-Common Core-free-access to all grade levels of CCSS

  5. More Apps for Teacher Productivity • QuickVoice Recorder-free-voice recorder for ideas, memos, voicemail, dictation, etc. • Socrative-free-makes devices smart clickers. Teacher app and student app, can do short answers and MC

Apps for English/Language Arts • Keep in mind that with the new CCSS, Science and Social Studies also fall under this category for many skills, etc. • Wordmover-free-from NCTE, students create poetry • Idea Sketch-mindmapping, good for other subjects too • Inkflow-brainstorming, organizing ideas
