  4. Add an “e” before the endings if… • The stem ends in “d” • Example: schad- Ich schadete mein Auto. • The stem ends in “t” • Example: arbeit- Er arbeitete sehr viel.

  5. STRONG VERBS:Change the stem and add endings: sehen = “sah +” ich _____ wir ______ -en du _____ st ihr ______ -et er/sie/es _____ sie/SIE ______ -en

  6. MIXED VERBS:Change the stem and add endings: nennen = “nann +” ich _____ -te wir ______ -ten du _____ -test ihr ______ -tet er/sie/es _____ -te sie/SIE ______ -ten
