  1. UK MoD Initiatives TLSS (Through Life Support Standard) PLCS is being used as the basis for both the Information and Activity models. This will require a complete set of DEXs and can be used to inform DEX development. JAMES (The Engineering & Asset Management suite of systems) Information exchange requirements are being based on PLCS. LITS (Air logistics system) We are proposing to develop a PLCS interface from LITS to the Rolls Royce SDM system

  2. UK MoD Initiatives UMMS (Sea logistics system) We are proposing to develop PLCS interfaces to shipyard systems and common data repositories. Location We are developing the location capability and testing it against the DG Info requirement for a common location addressing methodology and database. MoD Mapping We are continuing to develop a MoD mapping process (based on the OASIS generic mapping document) to provide common mapping throughout MoD

  3. UK MoD Initiatives NATO AC327 sub-group C We have an action to identify the coverage of the NATO NPDM within PLCS. This study will influence the proposal to change STANAG 4613 to call up PLCS rather than NPDM. PLCS RDL We are developing the requirement for a more robust RDL server including Reference data content. Lean Logistics Model Proof of Concept (POC) Used to integrate existing donor systems to a central repository utilising a common interface mechanism based on PLCS.
