  6. GENERALLY - covers a range of professional issues related to qualifying as a primary school teacher SPECIFICALLY - assists you in understanding and meeting the broad professional requirements of the ‘Professional Standards for Qualified Teacher Status’

  7. Planning • Differentiating for all abilities • Assessing • Behaviour Management • How children learn- educational theory

Turn to the person beside you … • Discuss a couple of issues related to education that have been in the news recently - be prepared to share these with the whole group. • Lets take one issues raised by the group- what is your opinion on this, what evidence do you base your opinion on? Discuss with your partner.
