Personal hygiene and appearance It is important to make sure: • Your clothes/uniform are clean, well presented and reflect the salon image • Your shoes are clean, comfortable and closed in • You have a bath or shower daily and used deodorant • You wash your hair and style in a suitable way to reflect the professional image of your salon • You clean your teeth regularly and keep your breath fresh • Your hands and nails are clean and well presented • You shave or trim facial hair regularly (if applicable) • You don’t wear rings, bracelets and necklaces that may catch the client’s hair and any jewellery reflect the salon/professional image
