  3. The campus network • 1993, the first Internet service: email (dial-up, UUCP) • 1995 on-line internet connection. (32Kb of bandwidth).

  4. The campus network • 1997 the fiber optic backbone was finished. • - On-line 512k.

  6. The campus network • 2002 -On-line 1 megabit. -ADSL connection (1Mb). -Bandwidth managament. (shapercfg) • 2004 the 90% of campus was connected to the LAN.

  9. Today • Nowadays -1 on-line connection at 1 Mb -3 ADSL connection of 2 Mbs each one. • We are experimenting now the bandwidth managament using Squid (delay pool).
