Chhattisgarh Budget 2021-22 analysis

On 1st march 2021, CM bhupesh baghel presented the budget for the state chhattisgarh. There are many schemes related to the agriculture, education, healh which leads the chhattisgarh to grow in a best possible way. For the first time any state will present a separate budget for child. The youth are having many expectations, that the CM will talk about the employment opportunity in the budget but again no such mention of employment. No provisions for tax. According to a rapid estimate, the State's GDP will rise 5.12 percent in 2019-20 at constant rates, compared to 5.32 percent (projected initially).<br>

  2. STATE BUDGET 2021-22 Budget was presented in 1st march 2021 It was presented by Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel Budget allocation of Rs 97,106 crores Chhattisgarh budget 2021

  3. CAPITAL & REVENUE EXPENDITURE

  4. ECONOMIC GROWTH a provision of 38 percent has been made for the social sector, 39 percent for the economic sector, and 23 percent for the general service sector. According to a rapid estimate, the State's GDP will rise 5.12 percent in 2019-20 at constant rates, compared to 5.32 percent (projected initially).

  7. A 'Bastar Tigers' special force will be established in all districts of the Bastar division. Local youths from the inner villages being given priority in recruitment, information about the inner area and forest will be given to these youths, and the police force will be able to use it during the anti-Naxal drive. 2800 persons will be recruited and an expenditure of Rs 92 crore is expected on this.

  8. AGRICULTURE BUDGET To increase the scope of Rajiv Kisan Nyay Yojana beyond the land- owning farmers and to help the rural agricultural landless laborers, a new "Nyay Yojana" will be started. To encourage fish farming in the state, steps will be taken to elevate it to the same level as agriculture. A provision of Rs 171 crore 20 lakh has been made for fisheries activities in the budget for 2021-22.

  9. WOMEN AND CHILDREN Toimprovethenutritionofwomen,thestatewillgivealumpsumof Rs5000onthebirthofthesecondchildgirl. Forthis,thenewKaushalyaMaternitySchemewillbelaunched.

  10. FOR THIRD PERSON Anashramcumrehabilitationcenterwillbesetupforthe rehabilitationofthirdgenderpersons. Forthis,aprovisionofRs76lakhhasbeenkeptinthebudgetandthis willbethefirstcenterofitskindinthecountry. 08

INFRASTRUCTURE BUDGET A 'C-Mart' store will be set up to make Chhattisgarhi arts, crafts, forest produce, agriculture and all other types of products and cuisines available under one roof. 1 To provide all Chhattisgarhi items under one roof, C-Mart stores will be developed both inside and outside the state. 2 The scheme will also be enhanced to provide further dividends to local farmers. 3

  12. ProvisionofRs236crorehasbeenmadeforexpansionofelectronics 4 andinformationtechnologyservices. Aroadsafetyconstructionschemehasbeenlaunchedinordertoreduce 5 thelossoflifeandpropertycausedbycaraccidents. TheChhattisgarhRoadandInfrastructureDevelopmentCorporationwillbuild 3,900kilometresofroadsandbridgesatacostofRs5,225crore.Aprovisionof 150croreshasbeenmadetothecorporationforthis. 6

EDUCATION 119 new English medium schools will be opened in the state under the Swami Atmanand English Medium School Scheme, while a national level boarding school will be established in Naya Raipur. Provision of 5 crores 85 lakhs for the "Padhna Likhna" campaign plan. Graduates in 14 colleges and PG courses in 15 colleges
