This action plan aims to establish a systematic promotion and development process for Scientific Fairs across Honduras' 16 regions. By implementing a comprehensive training program for teachers and students, we seek to enhance the quality and quantity of submitted projects. The initiative will unfold in four phases: organizing necessary tools, implementing training, launching regional fairs, and culminating in a National Fair. Collaborators include the Secretary of Education, SEPLAN, educational institutions, and other stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative effort to elevate science education.

ACTION PLAN- HONDURAS WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE? Begin a systematic process of promotion and development of Scientific Fairs in each of the 16 regions of the country, implementing a training program for teachers and students to improve the quality and quantity of projects submitted.
The processwillbeexecuted in fourphases: • PHASE I. Process of organizing and developing the tools necessary for implementing the initiative, these include: • Sign and agreement between SEPLAN and SEP • Development of a National Training Program, Work Schedule, and Budget required • Identification of Funds • Development of tools and general policy guidelines • Development of a National Promotion and Dissemination Program • PHASE II. Implementation of Training Process based on the proposed Work Schedule. • PHASE III. Start the implementation and development of regional fairs based on general policy guidelines developed • PHASE IV. Organization of a National Fair under the new standards.

The following be directly involved in the process: • Secretary of Education (SEP) through the Institute of Educational Research and Training (INICE) • Technical Secretary of Planning and External Cooperation (SEPLAN) through the Directorate General for Competitiveness and Innovation (DGCI) And, indirectly involved: • Private and Public Universities • Private Enterprise • Media • NGOs
