  3. Share one, get one • What has happened in your school towards implementing National Standards since the last session? • Resources/ideas to share

  4. Theory that underpins literacy learning • Read and discuss the statements • As a group write a summary statement

  5. Literacy Learning Progressions • Order the statements from Magenta to Gold • Highlight key words

  6. Literacy Learning Progressions • In ‘colour wheel’ groups develop statements in ‘kid speak’ • What opportunities do these texts provide? Add statements in ‘kid speak’

  7. Seen/unseen texts • Discuss the statements • When is a seen text appropriate? • When is an unseen text appropriate?

  8. Running Records • Compare the two running records • What can Child 1 and Child 2 do? • What are the next teaching steps for Child 1 and Child 2 (refer to LLP)
