Lakeside to Big Sur • The first city that my family and I visited was Big Sur. • While we were there we visited the Point Lobos Beach we also ate at the restaurant Treebones Restaurant and Sushi. • That night we camped at Pfeiffer Big Sur • Longitude and Latitude: 36.1075ºN and 121.6258ºW • Gas from Lakeside to Big Sur: $61.11 • Food at Treebones: $40.00 • Camping Fee at Pfeiffer: $30.00 • Miles from Lakeside to Big Sur: 438.22 Miles • Total expenses: $131.11

  3. Big Sur to Los Angeles • The second city we went to was Los Angeles. • We went to see the Nutcracker Fantasy at the Cine Family Movie Theater. We ate at Mr. Pizza and stayed the night at the Travel Lodge Hotel. • Longitude and Latitude: 34ºW and 118ºW • Gas from Big Sur to Los Angeles: $44.93 • Food at Mr. Pizza: $20 • Movie Tickets at Cine Family Theater: $48.00 • Hotel room at the Travel Lodge: $96.94 • Miles from Big Sur to Los Angeles: 310.12 miles • Total Expenses: $ 209.87

  4. Los Angeles to Riverside • The third city my family and I visited was Riverside. • We visited the California Citrus State Historic Park, parking was only $5.00!! After we walked around the park for a few hours we were starving and decided to eat at Ranch One Riverside for $30.00 • We stayed the night the night at Motel 6 Riverside South • Longitude and Latitude: 33.9481° N, 117.3961°W • Gas from Los Angeles to Riverside: $ 8.11 • Miles from Los Angeles to Riverside: 54.10 miles • Parking at California Citrus Park: $5.00 • Cost of the Motel was: $ 47.00 • Total cost: $60.11

  5. Riverside to Long Beach • The third place we visited was Long Beach. • We stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel at the Convention Center. While we were there we watched “Lets Misbehave: The music and lyrics of Cole Porter” • After we saw the musical we went and ate at the Ninos Italian • Longitude and Latitude: 33.7683ºN, 118.1956ºW • Gas from Riverside to Long Beach: $8.51 • Miles from Riverside to Long Beach: 61.27 • Cost of hotel $134 • Cost of Musical: $168 • Cost of food: $40 • Total Cost: $350.51

  6. Long Beach to Oceanside • Next we went to Oceanside! • We stayed at the Rodeway Inn hotel and visited the Oceanside Pier. After we visited the pier we went to a restaurant called That Boy Good!! • Longitude & Latitude: 33.2117ºN, 117.3258ºW • Gas from Long Beach to Oceanside: $10.02 • Miles from Long Beach to Oceanside: 70.03 • Cost of hotel: $75.00 • Cost at the Oceanside Pier: $0 • Cost of food: $40.00 • Total Cost: $125.02

Oceanside to Carlsbad • When we left Oceanside we drove to Carlsbad. • While we were there we stayed at a hotel called Carlsbad by the Sea. • The funniest thing we did there was went to Legoland!!!! • When we left legoland we went to wat the Islands Restaurant. • Longitude & Latitude: 33.1219 ºN, 117.2969ºW • Gas from Oceanside to Carlsbad: $5.00 • Miles from Oceanside to Carlsbad: 4.61 • Cost of Hotel: $111 • Cost at Legoland: $300 • Cost of food: $20.00 • Total Cost: $436

Carlsbad to San Marcos • In San Marcos we stayed at the Lakehouse Hotel and Resort. • We visited the Sunset Park and ate at Philly Frank's Steak. • Longitude & Latitude: 33.1419ºN, 117.1703ºW • Cost of Gas: $3.00 • Miles from Carlsbad to San Marcos: 14.83 • Cost of food: $60 • Cost of hotel: $99 • Cost at Sunset Park: $0 • Total cost: $ 162

San Marcos to Encinitas • After San Marcos we went to Encinitas. • We stayed at the Days inn, after we checked into the hotel we went to San Diego Botanical Gardens. • We did so much walking around we were STARVING and ate at Rosanna's Pasta Shop. • Longitude & Latitude: 33.0444ºN, 117.2717ºW • Gas from San Marcos to Encinitas: $2.00 • Miles from San Marcos to Encinitas: 13.08 • Cost of the hotel: $75 • Cost at Botanical Gardens: $42 • Cost of food: $30 • Total cost: $159
