This document outlines essential ground rules for conducting debriefing sessions following instructional rounds. Observers are reminded to maintain confidentiality by not sharing observations or debriefing comments with anyone outside their pairs. The process encourages guest teachers to share their observations and feedback through reflective questioning, fostering a supportive environment for host teachers. Emphasizing active listening and note-taking, this framework minimizes unsolicited suggestions and focuses on meaningful dialogue. A concluding reflective discussion evaluates the value of the experience for instructional leadership growth.
