  2. What some say about the Bible: It’s ancient and irrelevant. It’s just a collection of myths. Some have no problem with the Bible but don’t approve of the way we use it.

  3. What some say about the Bible: • A lot of people – even many religious people – are not all that interested in the Bible. • Embarrassed by the Old Testament. • Don’t want to be strictly bound by the laws of the New. • They still want Jesus – the grace and salvation He offers.

  4. What did Jesus believe about Scripture? Jesus was a Bible Thumper. Jesus didn’t have the NT. He frequently used the OT. We can know how Jesus viewed Scripture.
