The other is to lower the expenses of the WAN. In a recently conducted survey of over a hundred companies, twenty-five percent of respondents deployed TCP acceleration. It is a WAN optimization technique which focuses on overcoming the limitations of the window size of TCP. TCP acceleration is all about a series of techniques which helps you achieve better throughput on the network. It is something which you can’t reach on a standard TCP. You won’t even have to modify the end applications.
