  7. We grow as learners: CORE • Language Arts • Social Studies or Spanish Social Studies • Science • Math and Accelerated Math

  8. We grow as learners: RELATED ARTS • Wellness (Physical Education and Health) • Chinese, Spanish, Advanced Spanish, or Spanish Language Arts • Band, Choir, Orchestra, Art, STEAM, Chinese Culture

  9. Daily Schedule • 6 classes per day • 55 minutes per class • 5 minute passing time • Go to your locker, go to the bathroom, say hi to friends, and get to your next class. • 30 minute lunch - all 6th graders together • In the cafeteria! • Sit and eat for the first 10 minutes then you have the option to go outside, go to the library, or hang out in the commons area.

  11. We work to grow as a community • Advisory lessons addressing school and community needs. (Ex: empathy, inclusive language, how we treat others, organization) • Wood Ambassadors • team plans school wide events and activities • Community Service • Student surveys
