  4. RISK FACTORS Employment Unemployment rate is exacerbated by significant percentage of young, unskilled workers. Poverty Memphis Metropolitan Area is the most impoverished large metro in the nation Gun Violence 50% of crimes involve youth. Most are gun-related.
