Standardized Approach for Processing Diacritical Marks in Government Projects

This report summarizes discussions from AG meetings in autumn 2009 on processing diacritical marks consistently. It includes encoding, transcription, input, and search methods, aiming to develop a recommendation for handling special characters. Ergebnis Erarbeitung einer BLSG-Empfehlung • Zulässige Zeichen und Sonderzeichen • Kodierung der Zeichen (UTF-8) • Transkription sowie Transkriptionsarten (vollständig, teilweise, original) • Eingabe (sprachspezifisch) • Suche (phonetisch, näherungsweise, exakt) • Algorithmus für die phonetische Suche Veröffentlicht unter: http://reference.e-government.gv.at/KONVENTIONEN.1116.0.html

Bundes-Bibliothek Diakritische Zeichen Basis: Libraries aus der ZMR-Entwicklung • BMF hat Generallizenz für den Bund erworben • verfügbar für Bundesdienststellen ohne Lizenz- und Wartungskosten • Kann auch von IT-Dienstleistern in Bundes-Projekten genutzt werden • Abwicklung durch BRZ Ansprechperson: Dr. Nicolas Knotzer, BMF nicolas.knotzer@bmf.gv.at
