  1. DISABILITY IN THE WORLD -Disability prevalence rates are very high in the world. -These high rates of disability will have a tremendous financial impact in the future as people living with disability have much higher health care expenditure.

  2. In Turkey total disability proportion in the overall population is 12.29 %. -They live in rural area.And 47.55 % of disabled people have social security.

  3. TOTAL DISABILITY PROPORTION - Disability examinations show that disabled people and their families have not any hope for future. - Their rights are not protected under the law.Therefore,awareness is the most important issue for disabled people in Turkey.

  4. Association for the Education, Culture and Solidarity of Families With The Disables (ENAD) -For a better society, to live together and develop the society, as ENAD, our mission is to help develop individuals who are aware of responsibilities, generate information and contribute to the sharing of this information with society without making discrimination between ordinary individuals and the disabled.

  5. YOU ARE NOT ALONE -ENAD was performed in 23 March 2004.It is an information, support and advocacy organisation for people with a disability and their families,voluntaries in four different regions throughout Turkey. - It is their priority to provide education to families and the society in general on the disabled individuals.

  7. AIMS AND ACTIVITIES -This organisation is run by parents of children with a disability so it is known what it means to have a child with a disability. -It is an understood issue from a family perspective.

  8. AIMS AND ACTIVITIES -It provides information, support and advocacy for families who have a child or young adult with any type of disability. -It also run and/or contribute to various workshops, seminars and conferences and projects.

  9. AIMS AND ACTIVITIES -It describes family role as a voice to tell governments and other decision-makers about changes required to improve the service system for families of children with a disability.

  10. AIMS AND ACTIVITIES It covers all types of disability and is a non-profit organisation.

PROJECT NAME: TO TAKE STEPS AND JOIN THE LIFE TOGETHER. -EUROPION UNION DONATE PROGRAMME TO INVIGORATE THE PRESCHOOL EDUCATION. PROJECT NAME: THERAPY AND REHABILITATION SYSTEM OF DISABLED CHILDREN WITH PHYSIOTHERAPY EDUCATION SYSTEM.

  12. AIMS AND ACTIVITIES • ENAD believes that every person with learning disabilities can be successful at school, at work, in relationships, and in the community -- given the right opportunities.
