Invention: Trampoline • The trampoline was first made in 1920 by George Nissen. • After WW2 trampolines became extremely popular across the country. • Even though the company that made the apparatus was sold, the business was still a hit. • People still use it in sports and recreation. • Also families still enjoy and love trampolines.

Inventor: George Nissen • George Nissen was an inventor who created the trampoline. • Nissen was born in 1914 in America. • At 16 years old he started building his creative bouncing apparatus. • Nissen brought his creation to his summer camp which there it was a HUGE hit. • After WW2 Nissen started a corporation called “The Nissen Trampoline Corporation. • In 1980 after selling his company he continued to invent items such as the bunsaver air cushion and the labtop exercycle.
