  1. 10 Tips for Sleeping Safely at the Airport

  2. The first advice is to arrive at the airport well rested, so you can spend your time here with eyes wide open. • But in case you need to sleep, you need to ensure the safety of yourself and your luggage, and also adhere to airport rules. • Lay your bag under your head as a pillow. It gives support to your head and keeps the bag safe. • Don’t even consider sleeping in your car at the jfk parkingwhile you wait. It will be suffocating. • If you are travelling in a group, take turns sleeping and watching over luggage.

  3. If you feel like lying down, do it where some people have already done it, so that you are not rudely awakened by airport security later. • If your need to sleep is due to a flight cancellation or delay, then you can demand a cot too. • Like many airports have advanced RFID tagging in their parking at LAX, similarly you can look for sleeping pods in airports that have moved with the times. • Airport lounges are usually available to its members, but there are some which offer you a place to rest on payment. • The worst enemy of airport sleep are airplane schedules! So make sure you set an alarm on your phone, and that the volume is turned up, before you shut your eye.
