  2. Parking is the essential source of revenue for airport business model. It can be regarding as top income sources that equals to quarter of total operating revenue of airport and is from on-aeronautical field. However, this business income has been threatened by a major shift in mode of travel of passengers to and from parking at LAX. It has been revealed that however, number of passengers are rising day by day, still demand for airport parking is declining. It may be due to the companies like Uber, Lyft and Grab tec have emerged as most reliable and inexpensive mode of transport for passengers.

  3. These ride hailing apps are getting more and more popular today as these resolve both space and financial issues. Now fewer people wants to pay to park a car on airport. It has made airport authority to rethink of their monetization of ground access. Such challenges can even is going to be bigger in the next ten years. The parking departments in the airport authorities takes lot of power within the airport authority. Some airports are indulged in great worry that declination of parking revenues can impose negative effect on the bond rating. The successful airports always have credible and action plan ready to fight with any situation.
