  1. How to make SeaTac airport parking effortless How to make SeaTac airport parking effortless The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), popular as SeaTac, is the main commercial airport that serves the Seattle metropolitan area. The SeaTac airport covers an area of 2,500 acres, which is smaller when compared to the other US airports. However, the airport has shown sharp growth in passenger traffic in recent years as Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines setting up their hubs there. SeaTac airport parking turned into a difficult and expensive affair ever since the passenger traffic spiked.    According to an annual report of the Airports Council International, around 20,061,507 passengers used the service of SeaTac airport in 2020, making it the 11th busiest airport in North America. The airport owned by the Port of Seattle is served by 34 airlines and operates around 28 international and 91 domestic destinations. With passenger traffic increasing, the Port has come up with more options for SeaTac airport parking. Another advantage for a passenger is that there are many good offsite parking options near the airport too.

  2. Onsite parking in SeaTac airport   SeaTac airport parking comes up with Drive-up parking and offers three options – Terminal Direct, General parking, and Passport parking. The Terminal Direct and General parking offer long-term and short-term parking usage. Terminal Direct parking is located on the fourth floor of the parking garage and is considered the most suitable SeaTac airport parking method. The passengers could easily navigate to the main terminal via the skybridges set up on the fourth floor. However, considering the proximity to the terminal, parking rates are on the higher side. Parking at Terminal Direct charges you $6 hourly, $39 per day, and $273 for a week.  General parking is set up on floors 1-3 and 5-8 of the SeaTac garage, offering more parking space at a reduced charge. The parking space charges you $5 daily, $32 per day, and $149 for a week. General parking will be beneficial to the passengers as it offers ample parking space spreading across seven floors.    SeaTac airport parking offers daily, hourly, and weekly motorcycle parking in Terminal and General garages. However, the parking rate for motorcycles is the same as that of cars. SeaTac airport parking also facilitates designated parking spaces for Electric Vehicles (EV). Out of the 48 designated ones, 36 are on the fifth floor of General parking and 12 in Terminal Direct. The spaces are specially marked with green stripes, and passengers are provided with free EV charging on a first-come, first-served basis.    Monthly SeaTac airport parking plan   Driving every time through the garages and finding a parking space is a tedious job. However, a relaxed trip is assured once your cars are parked in onsite garages. How about having a safe and permanent parking space for you? Passport parking at the airport is a comfortable option that frequent flyers can make use of.   One could use Passport parking by paying $375 a month, and you are designated with a specific parking space in Terminal Direct. All you need is to drive up the fourth floor, park your car, and walk to the Main Terminal. It also lets you have a relaxed drive to the airport. Parking at Terminal Direct costs $273 for a week. So even if you are an occasional flyer and need longer parking periods at SeaTac airport, Passport parking is a good option as you are charged just around $12.5 per day.

  3. ADA parking in SeaTac   Accessible parking is one major specialty of SeaTac airport parking. Specific spaces are allotted on the fifth floor of General parking and Terminal Direct garage. Passengers who intend to use these spaces must ensure that their vehicle shows valid disabled identification for verification purposes. SeaTac airport parking also offers wheelchair assistance services to passengers, and wheelchair- friendly paths provide you smooth and direct access to Main Terminal.    Offsite parking near SeaTac airport   Though the SeaTac airport parking offers safe and convenient parking for your cars, a few passengers might feel that the parking rates are higher. There are always several offsite garages and hotels near the airport that offers parking at discounted rates. Park N Jet, Parking Seatac, Jiffy Airport Parking, Hilton Seattle Airport, Wally Park, Doubletree Seattle Airport, Park N Fly, and Seattle Park ‘N Fly Valet are a few offsite parking options that a passenger can use. Passengers will prefer offsite parking options as they have a greater number of parking lots and offer the same security as SeaTac airport parking garages. The presence of CCTV cameras, regular patrolling, and strict checks at entry and exit points assure your car a safe parking spot. Passengers could find and prebook the parking spaces on their websites or apps, or you can always find a better deal by booking via Way.com or the Way app.   Parking for over-height vehicles at SeaTac  Vehicles having a height above 6’10 are considered over-height vehicles at SeaTac airport parking lots. The over-Height Vehicle parking area is made for such vehicles, and passengers could use this space via Highway 99/International Blvd., either from north or south. The parking area is at a walkable distance from the terminal.

  4. Need free parking at SeaTac?   SeaTac airport parking has set up a cellphone parking lot with around 200 spaces where drivers could park their car for free for up to 20 minutes. The lot is located directly across from the S. 170th Street exit of the Airport Expressway. It is the best option for pickups as waiting time is less and the airport roads remain decongested. The lot also offers free Wi-Fi.
