  9. Attendance • Increase daily student attendance 95% in 2012-2013 to 97% in 2013-2014

Attendance • Daily Calls to parents of all absent students by school administration and school counselor • Attempt to speak with parents on a daily basis • Results of call are logged into PS under attendance • Record is a valuable resource for Student Services if the child begins to have major issues with attendance

  11. Attendance • Identify monthly classes with highest attendance 1st Month of School-Ms. McEntire’s 5th grade 99.8% attendance

  12. Attendance • Identify weekly (drawing) winners for perfect attendance. Prize donated by Bojangles (Partner in Education)

  13. Attendance • Bee-Here Club meets monthly with students that missed 15 or more days last year. • Purpose to provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to attend school • Students are given small reward each month of perfect attendance.
