  2. Observation • The percentages of heads rarely reaches below 50 percent. The minimum number is 25 percent and the maximum is 100 percent. From the raw data on the previous slide you see we collected 14 heads and 11 tails.

  3. Over time • The percentage of getting heads is 56%, due to the fact that there were 14 heads out of the 25 flips. • The percentage of getting tails is 44%, due to the fact that there were 11 tails out of the 25 flips.

  4. According to the percentages that we got from flipping the coin, if we were to guess we would probably get it right a little less than 50% of the time. This is because we had a 44 and 56 split between heads and tails. • Is this fair? • Sure it is. Both teams have a 50:50 chance of the coin landing on heads or tails.

  5. 5 number summary • For the percent of heads… • The mean is 161.25%. • The median is 56.5%. • The range is 2507. • The standard deviation is 496.126. • The variance is 246141.0208.
