ENCUESTA DE ESTABLECIMIENTOS DE ALOJAMIENTO TURISTICO • LA ENCUESTA, FORMA PARTE DEL PROGRAMA ANUAL DE ESTADISTICAS DEL INE, Y ESTA DIRIGIDA A TODOS LOS ESTABLECIMIENTOS QUE PRESTAN EL SERVICIO DE ALOJAMIENTO POR UN PERIODO NO INFERIOR A UNA NOCHE Y CUMPLAN CON CONDICIONES PREESTABLECIDAS ( Nº DE HABITACIONES, SISTEMAS DE REGISTRO). • LOS ESTABLECIMIENTOS DE ALOJAMIENTO TURISTICOS SE CLASIFICAN EN CLASES SEGÚN LA MODALIDAD COM SE PRESTA EL SERVICIO: Hoteles, Moteles, Apart-Hoteles, Residenciales, Cabañas, Camping, etc. • LA PUBLICACION OFICIAL DE LA INFORMACION ESTADISTICA ES EL RESULTADO DE UN TRABAJO CONJUNTO ENTRE EL SERVICIO NACIONAL DE TURISMO Y EL INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE ESTADISTICAS.

PRINCIPAL INFORMACION DE LA ENCUESTA LA INFORMACION DE LA ENCUESTA QUE LEVANTA MENSUALMENTE EL INE A LOS ESTABLECIMIENTOS DE ALOJAMIENTO TURISTICO CONTIENE INFORMACION ACERCA DE : • EXISTENCIA DEL Nº TOTAL DE ESTABLECIMIENTOS E INFORMANTES QUE RESPONDEN LA ENCUESTA; • PERSONAL OCUPADO; • LLEGADAS Y PERNOCTACIONES DE PASAJEROS POR ORIGEN (CHILE Y EL EXTRANJERO); • CAPACIDAD OFRECIDA DE HABITACIONES; • CAPACIDAD OFRECIDA DE CAMAS; • OCUPACION DE LAS HABITACIONES.

Nº de Establecimientos de Alojamiento Turístico Permanentes por Provincias Junio 2006 • La Oferta de Establecimientos de la Región alcanza a 130. • La mayoría de los establecimientos se concentran en la capital regional. • La menor oferta se encuentra en Arauco. • Esta distribución es proporcional a la población según provincias.

Nº de Llegadas de Pasajeros a Establecimientos de Alojamiento Turístico 8va Región, años 2004 - 2005 y Primer Semestre 2006 • Existe una evidente demanda de la infraestructura hotelera en los meses estivales, esto es, enero y febrero. • El resto del año la demanda baja hasta situarse a menos de un tercio de la observada en los meses de verano. • Las fluctuaciones mensuales obedecen a factores puntuales, como realización de eventos culturales, deportivos o sociales.

Nº de Llegadas de Pasajeros a Establecimientos de Alojamiento Turístico 8va Región, Años 2004 - 2005 y Primer Semestre 2006 • En 7,5% aumentaron las llegadas a los establecimientos de Alojamiento Turístico en el Primer Semestre de 2006 en comparación al mismo Semestre del 2005. • En ambos casos las llegadas son muy superiores en los meses de Enero y Febrero.

Nº de Pernoctaciones de Pasajeros a Establecimientos de Alojamiento Turístico 8va Región, años 2004 - 2005 y Primer Semestre 2006 • Las pernoctaciones siguen un patrón semejante a las Llegadas, concentrándose en los primeros meses del año. • El año 2006 muestra un incremento importante en las pernoctaciones de los meses estivales en relación al resto del año.

Nº de Pernoctaciones de Pasajeros a Establecimientos de Alojamiento Turístico 8va Región, Años 2004 - 2005 y Primer Semestre 2006 • En 22,9% aumentaron las pernoctaciones registradas en los establecimientos de Alojamiento Turístico durante el Primer Semestre de 2006 en relación al mismo periodo del año anterior. • Al igual que las llegadas el mayor movimiento Turístico se concentra en los meses de Enero y Febrero.

  13. Movimiento Aéreo comercial Primer Semestre 2006 • El N° de llegadas y salidas de pasajeros es del orden del 92.229 y 99.164 respectivamente, en el Primer Semestre del año 2006. • El movimiento de pasajeros aéreos que entran y salen de la Región en el Primer Semestre de este año, se incrementó en 2,9% y 4,4% respecto al mismo Semestre año 2005. • Los pasajeros entrantes fluctúan con un mínimo en febrero del orden de 11.000 y máximo de 18.000 en el mes de mayo de 2006.
