  4. Students fail to stop the professor when they do not understand the concepts during the lecture.

  5. Working on problems but failing to get the correct answer. How can I improve my problem solving skills?

  6. Keeping up with the professor while taking notes. Not fully understanding the course material.

  9. Attend every class. Getting someone’s notes is not the same as being in the class.

  10. Be organized. Keep track of due dates and things to do. Maintain a neat and organized study space.

  11. Manage your time well. Be realistic. Multi-task.

  12. Take good notes. Write in own words as much as possible

  13. Know how to read the textbook. Scan Read actively Review

  14. Study regularly and keep up. The best defence is a good offence. “It’s better to keep up than to catch up!”

  16. Take good care of yourself. Get enough rest and exercise

  18. -Get off to a good start. -Develop a plan. -Ask if you don’t understand a question.

  19. -Stop worrying about the other test-takers. -Mark the questions you want to return to. -Double-check your answers.
