ECO-NOMYJUNIOR ACHIEVEMENTProgram-GENERAL PRESENTATION- The highschool JA program concentrates on theelaboration of the best decisions in favor of the economic developement with a minimal impact over the environment. The students learn the basic concepts of economy and business, studying the opportunities and their options from their future career. With the diverse experimental activities, the students realize the relations between the the classes and the reality of global economy.

THE OBJECTIVESOF JA ECO-NOMIA • THE FORMING OF STUDENTS THROUGH PRACTICE ACTIVITIES LIKE PROFESSIONISTS, ENTREPRENEURS AND THE RESPONSIBLE CONSUMERS. • THROUGH THE PARTICIPATIONS OF STUDENTS IN THE PROGRAM THEY WILL BECAME CAPABLE OF: • TO GAIN THE ABILLITY OF REALISING AND SOLVING SOME PROBLEMS. • TO TAKE RESPONSIBLE DECISIONS FROM CHOOSINGS WITH LONG IMPACT FROM THEIR COMMUNITY TO THE DAILY OPTIONS OF THE CONSUMERS.

  3. AN ACTIVITY WITH ECO-NOMIC IMPACT : THE RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT OF COMMUNITY RESIDUE.

INTRODUCTION • Explaining the impact that the products that are in their last cycle of existance, when residue, have on the environment, economy an societyi; • This thing will be done through the enumeration of the periods of their products descomposition: -paper 2-5 months -plastic bags 10-20 years -tin cans 50-100 years - Glass bottles 1000000 years - Plastic bottles almost non-degradable • The listing of possible residue destinations: - Landfill - incineration

  5. The explication and the drawing of “the residue pyramid” that lists the intelligent methods of solving the residue problems:

  6. APLICATIONS The elaboration of a practical activity using a number of volunteers who will show utilisation examples listed in “the pyramid of residue” in their daily life. This examples will give the studens conections between solving methods of the residue problem and possible financial economic profit generator activities. In this way, the studens will be motivated to discover the using of residues in profitable ways for them,Astfel, both for them as future business managers and for the environment.
