  1. Three Pass Trek and its Specialties - why should you go for this trek? “The most difficult roads often lead to the most beautiful destinations!” - we hear often. You have to take the Three Passes Trek to see how accurate this is!! The Three Pass Trek is known for two things it has to offer—the challenging adventures and the beautiful sceneries. The Trek is a 20 day long adventure that takes the trekkers through three different passes and some of the most unbelievably beautiful views in Nepal that are little known to the other part of the world. We give you top 5 reasons why you must add the 3 pass trek to your bucket list. 1.For its unspoiled beauty Even though the Everest Base Camp Trek has become quite popular in the last decade or so, there are several parts of the trek that have unspoiled and pristine beauty. The three passes trek is a diversion from the usual and busy route that is usually taken for the Everest Base Camp. After the Namche Bazaar, the route covers the beautiful Khumbu Region that has the feel of a traditional backcountry. So precisely while on the trek, you will see less people and more nature! 2.Challenge your limits If you are a true explorer looking for some serious adventure for your soul, you will not get it any better than on the Everest High Passes Trek. It is a 20 day long trek that involves passing the three high passes namely, Cho La Pass (5400m), Kongma La pass (5535m), and Renjo La pass (5360m). And it does not just end there! The trek is equally rewarding as it is adventurous. The shimmering Gokyo Lakes, villages with their old world charm, the Ngozumpa Glacier and 4 of the world’s tallest mountains make for a befitting reward for an arduous task such as the 3 pass trek. 3.Outstanding views from Kala Patthar and Gokyo Ri The Three Passes Trek involves summiting two different peaks-Kala Pathar at 5545 m and Gokyo Ri at 5357 m. Both of these peaks are popular for offering magnificent views of some of the tallest mountains across the world. Kala Patthar literally translates to ‘Black Rock’. It is the highest point of the trek and the peak is taller of the two. It is definitely popular for offering some of the most close and clear views of Everest but it is also the highest point of Himalayas that one can climb without any technical knowledge. Gokyo Ri is less travelled when compared to Kala Patthar but is known to offer betterviews of the high peaks. 4.The Ngozumpa Glacier

  2. Another major attraction of the Everest High Passes Trek is the Ngozumpa Glacier in the Gokyo Valley. The glacier is not just large but also extremely impressive, when compared to other glaciers in the region such as the Khumbu Glacier at the Everest Base. For 36 kilometers, it is one of the longest glaciers in the Himalayan region. 5.The Sherpa Village of Thame Besides the breathtaking visuals, you can also learn about the rich history of the region by visiting the Sherpa Village of Thame. The village is home to several popular climbing Sherpas; it is here that you will find one of the oldest monasteries in the khumbu region and a spectacular large Stupa. The village defines spirituality, strength and beauty in its purest form. If you are close to nature and an out and out explorer, you will notice that the 3 pass trek is a complete trek that offers every kind of experience to the trekkers.
