Food or beverage <$35 at meeting of professional, civic, nonprofit or charitable org.; or 2. Food or beverage (any value) at event where BCC member is featured speaker or featured guest and event is either open to public or other community leaders or elected officials have been invited and are expected to attend ;or 3. Food or beverage (any value) served at a stand-alone social event [2-453(c), OCC] Does gift value exceed $100? If yes If no If yes If no Is food or beverage valued <$35, at professional meeting, etc.? If yes, you may accept and do not report gift value to State.
