  4. Toppfarten blev allt högre så började man laborera med alternativa styrsystem som hittills bara varit en spak. 1898 introducerades ratten i en av panhard modellerna. Lösningar kom också till hjulens fjädring. Luft pumpade hjul var bättre än hjul med gummiring runt.

  5. Många påstår att bilens rätta historia inleddes med Henry Ford och hans bilar. Man hade tillverkat bilar i hans fabrik sedan 1903 och i oktober 1908 började T-forden säljas Omkring år 1930 hade det sålts ca 15 miljoner exemplar av T-Fordar i USA. I och med detta ville fler och fler ha bil och bilindustrin ökade kraftigt T-Ford

  6. Efter andra världskriget fanns det ett större behov av bilar och därmed en god marknad för nykonstruerade mindre bilar som Volvo PV och SAAB 92.
