  3. MedBiquitous Competencies Working Group • Rosalyn Scott and Tim Willett, co-chairs • Launched in 2006 • Charter: • “to develop XML standards and supporting guidelines for competency data enabling educational resources and activities to be tied to a competency framework”

Reasons for undertaking work • Tie educational activities and resources to a competency framework. • Track learner accomplishments against a list of competencies relevant to a health profession and specialty. • Allow educators to see how their curriculum fits into a competency framework and better manage their curriculum and its development
