  2. Topic for this slide Go to Home tab – select new slide under slides section – select slide type based on need • Use these bullets to list items • You don’t need to use complete sentences

  3. Sample Picture Go to Insert – Picture – select from your pictures in your public.www Once the picture is on your slide – the picture tools menu will appear – use it to format and create the appearance you want

  4. Shapes Why do I need to eat vegetables Go to insert – shapes and select the shape – you will see a plus sign – drag the shape to the desired size 10

Linking • This is done by highlighting the text or image you wish to link – then go to Insert – Hyperlink • To link to an external website or another file in your public.www make sure “existing file or website” is selected on the left and then type the COMPLETE URL in the address space (e.g., Rowan University) • To link internally, within this powerpoint, select “place in this document” on the left – and then select the slide where you want the link to go (e.g., slide 2)

  6. Transitions and Sounds • Transitions • Used to introduce a new slide during the slideshow • Use for emphasis, but not needed on all slides • (found under transitions) • Sounds • Add impact • (found under transitions)
