Many Factors Emerged Over Time • Paradigm shifts in thinking about role of computer: tracker, tutor, tutee, tool • Sinking realization that we were talking about real money - an annual operating expense! • Rapidly moving targets! • Both the technology and the educational focus: • hardware ->software ->teacher training ->curriculum -> standards • Change was a lot harder than we thought... dianne-2
