Summary • Box gets bumped causing the ball to fall into funnel • Ball follows track to the mousetrap • Lands on the mousetrap setting it off • A string attached to a screw on one end, is pulled by the mousetrap from the other end • The screw is pulled out from under the wood • The bowling ball rolls down the wood revealing the banner

Problems • We had some problems finding the right size ball to fit in the tubing. • Once set up it took multiple runs to find the right placement of mousetrap. • When the ball hit the mousetrap we lost it frequently because it was flung out of our sight. • Since we used the cheap mousetraps they kept breaking on us after 2 or 3 runs.

  7. Conclusions • While constructing our project our goal was to spend the least amount of money but still have a quality project meeting all requirements. • Being able to apply the concepts learned in class as a group makes engineering so much more engaging than doing written work by yourself.
