  2. Size • The length of Egypt is 675 miles. • The area is 387,000 sq. miles.

  3. Nile River • The Nile River is 4,145 miles long. • The river floods every year. • It floods to grow crops.

  4. Location • The continent that Egypt is located in is Africa. • It is located in the northeast corner of Africa. • Egypt is connected to Asia.

  5. Climate • The climate is very hot but it has rain December through February.

  6. School • In Egypt school can be outdoors or indoors. • Many schools visit temples.

  7. History • 31 tombs were discovered in Egypt. • They made mummies for 3,000 years. • Tutankhamen was 9 years old when he was pharaoh.
