  2. From the creaky old house at the end of the drive comes a sound so mysterious, we must go inside. If you come along, you might get a scare. Open the door, but please beware.

  3. If you open it, you will see, that the door creaks a sound like the creaky letter e.

  4. In the creaky old house, through the creaky old door, you creep seven steps across a creaky old floor. If you creep across it, you will see that the floor creaks a sound like the creaky letter e.

  5. In the creaky old house, through the creaky old door, and seven creeping steps across the creaky old floor, is a creaky old staircase, leading up high. Shall we climb up to find what else is inside? As you climb up the stairs, you will see that the stairs creak a sound like the creaky letter “e”.

  6. In the creaky old house, through the creaky old door, and seven creeping steps across the creaky old floor, up the creaky old staircase, we find quite a sight!

  7. It’s a creaky old granny, rocking baby goodnight! In her creaky old rocker, she rocks to and fro, and the rocker makes a sound that by now we all know!
