  3. Our Goals • Introduce you to an array of technology tools and resources • Assist you in the selection and integration of those technology resources into the lesson/unit

  4. Your Mission Develop a lesson or unit that is: • Aligned to the MCF • Appropriately integrates technology • Includes an assessment component • Meets the needs of diverse learners

  5. The Good News • You are already an expert in the most important element of teaching - your curriculum. Content RULES • The most important thing you can do this week is make judgements about whether one technology or another • will serve the best interests of your students and the curriculum you are teaching • Technology must ADD VALUE to your lesson/unit

  6. MoreGood News • Time to think, plan, reflect, and build your team • Your team becomes your built-in network of support • Share teaching strategies and curriculum resources with other teachers from around the state

  7. Remember! • Learning takes time - this week is the begiinning • There is NO expectation that you will absorb everything we will introduce this week • There is NO expectation that you will complete your unit this week • The process is more important than the product
