  2. God saved the children of Israel from the slavery of Egypt but they got distracted and returned to sin... ... So God allowed them to be under the rule of the harsh King of Canaan.

  3. Deborah was a prophetess and wise woman who helped the people of Israel solve their problems under a palm tree.

  4. Deborah told Barak the Lord’s promise that if they gathered 10’000 men and went to war, that He would deliver Sisera, the commander of the army, into their hands. Sisera gathered 900 chariots and went to meet them.

  5. God was with him and with his army so they won the battle and Sisera ran away from his chariot to escape death.

  6. He hid in the house of a lady named Jael, who welcomed him into her home and gave him milk to drink because he was thirsty... ... But when he fell asleep, she killed him to save the Israelites.

  7. What Can I Do? • Do not judge anyone because God can do work through any person. • Let your faith in God make you courageous because with God we can defeat the biggest and scariest warriors. • Strengthen your relationship with God so that you can help others.
