V Cumbre ALC-UE 2008 ACUERDOS A PLAZO FIJO PARA EL 2020 • Los mandatarios reunidos ayer en la V Cumbre ALC-UE acordaron cumplir con los siguientes 8 objetivos para el año 2020: 1.LUCHA CONTRA LA DESNUTRICIÓN: • Erradicar la desnutrición y prevenir la malnutrición infantil, en especial en los niños menores de 3 años, atendiendo al derecho a la alimentaciuón y garanti-zando la seguiridad alimentaria a nuestras poblacio-nes.

  2. 2. ACCESO A LA SALUD: Universalizar la atención a las madres gestantes y a los recién nacidos, y el acceso progresivo a los servicios de salud. 3. ANALFABETISMO: Erradicar progresivamente el analfabetismo. 4. MEJOR EDUCACIÓN: Universalizar la educación preescolar, me-jorar la calidad de la educación básica y ampliar la cobertura y calidad de la educa-ción secundaria y superior.

  3. 5. CALIDAD PROFESIONAL: Promover la educación vocacional (saber elegir su prpofesión. Carrera técnica, oficio, etc.) y profesional. 6. AGUA Y DESAGÜE: Universalizar el acceso a los servicios de agua potable y saneamiento. 7. MÁS EMPLEO: Incrementar las tasas de empleo y establecer programas de formación laboral. 8. VIVIENDAS DIGNAS: Mejorar las condiciones de vivienda de los grupos más vulnerables de la población.
