Warm-Up EA2: Example (in red pencil)Trade drafts with a partner. 1. Underline the topic sentence and concluding sentence. Do BOTH state the purpose (fictional or figurative heroes, traits?) 2. Circle ALL transitions. Are they appropriate? 3. Are the MLA citations correct? (Author #). 4. Does the trait MATCH the textual evidence? 5. Is there ENOUGH commentary?
