  6. The Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance 22 October 2008 • Wetlands in Taiwan, none be included? • These two sites in Taiwan with international importance, be included in the Ramsar List of wetlands. • We need your help.

  7. Why, as soon as possible • Under pressure, come from economic growth • We need learn more about the wetlands and need to monitor the changes. • Adaptive management needs a lot of public participation and support, and also intensive research works.

  8. Legal status of these 2 sites in Taiwan • We’ve already earned the local up to National political supports. • Now, we need international support.
