  1. HOW ONLINE FOOD DELIVERY SERVICES ARE GETTING MORE CONVENIENT? Today, over half of the population of the world has access to the internet. By 2030, this figure will hit 76 percent, with the percentage of mobile internet users projected to go from 42.4 percent (2017) to 99.5 percent (6.8 percent CAGR) by 2030. A lot of aspects of our lives have been changed by quick access to the Internet and higher bandwidths. We get most of these things done online, from renting a cab for regular commutes to consuming entertainment material to buying groceries, and so on. Food ordering is one such activity which, thanks to technology, has changed drastically over the last few years. Online Food delivery apps such as UberEats, Wishbox, GrubHub, Swiggy and Zomato are tapping into today's consumers' innate needs. Some of the reasons for their success are ease, delivery anytime- anywhere, choice, and convenient payment options.

  2. What can be delivered during this pandemic? The delivery systems during this "lockdown" are extremely restricted on what can be sent out. Of course, perishable goods and food items are permitted to be shipped from one location to another. And even that, thanks to LGU and government-established control points, is tightly regulated. However, this implies that you can still order via food delivery services such as Wishbox and have it safely dropped on your doorstep. Grocery and meat delivery systems are other delivery networks that are very successful right now. Although grocery deliveries have been around for a long time now, as of late, it is seeing a big drive. It may be a little more costly than people going to the market directly, but this is a safe route to take, not only in Metro Manila but also in various parts of the island, particularly with the increasing rate of infection. How do the delivery services clear the checkpoint? How this works is one of the issues that people who refuse to get food delivered or other items sent to their homes are concerned about. Presidential Proclamation 922, which was signed on March 8, 2020, falls under the ECQ. It called for the prohibition of public transport and public meetings. During the ECQ, several establishments have also been forced to shut down. However, the distribution of vital commodities such as food is exempted from this but must go through control points. Compared to other means and methods of transportation, this means they will not be delayed too much. It's also good to know that despite the lockdown, there are some businesses, grocery stores, and restaurants that have kept themselves open to provide service and earn a living. These restaurants are also connected to the current food delivery systems, making this whole ecosystem work even with all the stresses and difficulties. How Comfortable and Safer Is It? Here are some of the points we would like to point out, especially during these periods, in terms of convenience with prime food services. Less contact with other people occurs. Everyone is extremely distanced from society, but one thing that makes it a common way of doing things is physical contact. If you want to keep things safe, you might do the common thing that many people are doing these days, leaving a chair outside and leaving your Wishbox driver with instructions. No hassle when choosing food. In providing people with a way to pick what they want to eat, visuals are helpful. You should search for the food delivery app to see what's available if you don't have any idea what to eat. It beats wasting time worrying about what you're going to have for dinner or lunch. It's easy because it's not necessary to cook. It is easy to order food and have it delivered to your house. From a pandemic viewpoint, food preparation will also offer the ability to infect other individuals, which is something we don't want to do.

  3. It helps to break the monotony. A perfect way to break from the normal things might be to order from a food delivery service. It is not wrong to go and buy something different from time to time and you can do so if you have a meal that reminds you of the "good old days". It is also nice to enjoy something like a delicious meal or milk tea that you haven't had from time to time. In the middle of the lockdown or ECQ, there are several various other conveniences that delivery systems have shown to individuals. But before all of this, if you could download the Wishbox App for either iOS or Android, it would be awesome. Check out what is at your disposal in your town. Conclusion: It is not necessary to refuse the ease of restaurant delivery apps. It is also difficult to ignore the fact that this technology is changing the way we eat and how restaurants operate. However, concentrating on food protection, food quality, and ensuring the sustainability of our beloved dining establishments should be at the top of what we choose from the consumer's perspective.
