  1. Critical Reflection Show Me Love Music Video by Nnandi Jean-Francois

  2. The Use of Different Conventions Challenging Conventions Examples • When researching we looked up the music video to our song. There was not a music video to our song but there was one to the songs remix. • In that music video they introduced the characters with a medium shot. This helped show the setting better than the use of a close up or medium close up. • In the music video we created we introduced the characters with a close up or medium close up. This focuses more on the face of the character and their emotion.

  3. The Use of The Same Conventions Setting Examples • In the video they made there is the use of the beach as one of the settings. • In both videos they write on the beach something about love.

  4. Representation of Social Issues • The social issue talked about in this project is love. • According to dictionary, “Love is an intense feeling of deep affection.” • Everyone needs to experience this feeling or emotion known as love so we used different people have the words “shoe me love” next to them to show that they need love and so does everyone else.

  5. Audience This video is trying to convey a message that everyone needs love. Therefore the audience is everyone. This video uses for completely different people. We used different genders, races, and ages in order to portray this message. (Play Video To The Left)

  6. Distribution of Music Video • The fist place I would distribute this video is obviously YouTube. This where people can it free without purchase, but will need Wi-Fi in order to view it. • iTunes is the next place I would distribute the video. I would but it on sale for 0.99 cents. People would have to purchase the video, but they are able to listen to it whenever they want to without Wi-Fi.

  7. Production Skills • Throughout this project I have learned how to use a camera. When using the camera I also learned how to properly frame the objects. • I have also learned how to edit. Being able to properly time certain scenes to the music is important. When the words of the song coordinate with the action in the video it is important that they are not off time.

  8. Integration of technology • Camera: Canon Rebel t5i • Tripod: Sony • Editing Software: Adobe Premier Pro • Computer Type: DELL
