  2. WONDERCIDE |Luna’s Story Wondercide was founded in 2008 by Stephanie Boone when her dog Lunabecame deathly ill from pesticide poisoning. Like millions of other dogs & cats, Luna was being treated monthly with a vet prescribed flea & tick treatment. At age 10, Luna experienced side effects ranging from seizures & chronic skin issues to liver & kidney failure. The general consensus from the vet community was to put Luna down which was just not an option for Stephanie. She began tirelessly looking for natural pest control products, researching pesticide formulations, reading human & animal health impact studies, regulatory laws, & environmental policies. The uncomfortable truths lit a fire in her so powerful, she left her career and Wondercide was born! Stephanie sought out scientists & professors who had experience working with bio-based ingredients such as cedar oil extractions. Together, they worked to develop alternative pesticides that didn’t use harmful chemicals. Today, Wondercide offers a growing line of innovative, holistic health products & natural pest control products for pets, people, and their property. Luna is 14 years old, happy & healthy.
