  2. 2 Thessalonians 3:13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good. Revelation 2:10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Let us not grow weary

  7. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Cf. Philippians 2:12 What god requires of us

  11. Focus on our own attitude toward God. What can we do?

  12. Do we want to please God, or not? Is this our priority or not? 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God; Colossians 1:10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; Mark 12:30 Mind our own attitude

  13. Focus on our own attitude toward God. Nurture our faith. What can we do?

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD       Shall renew their strength;       They shall mount up with wings like eagles,       They shall run and not be weary,       They shall walk and not faint. Trust God and wait on Him. Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Psalm 119:89-90 Nurture our faith.

  15. Focus on our own attitude toward God. Nurture our faith. Strengthen our hope. What can we do?

  16. Romans 5:1-8, hope and perseverance are linked. Psalm 119:113-114 113 I hate the double-minded,         But I love Your law.114 You are my hiding place and my shield;         I hope in Your word. Strengthen our hope.

  17. Focus on our own attitude toward God. Nurture our faith. Strengthen our hope. Practice LOVE. What can we do?
