This document explores the concept of "Duldung," a temporary suspension of deportation in Germany affecting nearly 150,000 individuals. With over 50% of those living under "Duldung" for more than eight years, many are children born in Germany facing significant legal and social challenges. The JoG Initiative, founded in Berlin in 2002, empowers young refugees through conferences and advocacy, pushing for a generous right of residence and equality in education and work opportunities. Together, we can support youth refugees in building a brighter future.
