  2. MOI Notification • Environmental & Safety Measures (2nd lead smelter): • Location • Storage of deposed lead plate (lead-acid batteries) • Storage adjacent to smelter plant • Machinery and equipment: • Closed system-process • Lead fume and dust treatment facility

  3. MOI Notification • OH & S (Workers): • No manual dismantling of deposed lead-acid batteries • Personal safety protection equipment • Wash room • Drinking water • Health examination (@ 6 months) • Relocation of workers exposed to lead fume

  4. MOI Notification • Ambient air quality of Pb • Working area air quality • Property line air quality • Pb toxicity dispersion control: • Wastewater discharge & run-off analysis (@ 3 months) • Ground water contamination (@ 1 year) • Sub-surface water contamination (Upstream x1, downstream x2)

  5. MOI Notification • Soil contamination @ property line inspection • Soil contamination inside property line (adjacent to the smelter) • Slag from smelter characteristic & disposal • Handling of sludge from WWTP & disposal • Handling of plastic battery case & recovery • Handling of Pb contaminated refuse • Audit report
