  1. 5 Common Reasons for Your Yellow Teeth

  2. If you are too embarrassed to smile in public, then you probably have been experiencing yellow teeth.

  3. ▪ Here are some of the common reasons for your yellow teeth: ▪ 1. Having an acid-rich diet:  Certain foods, especially the ones that have more acidic value, can discolor the enamel of your tooth.  Regularly consuming soda, juice, coffee and wine can be the reason you have yellowish teeth. ▪ 2. Over-consumption of tobacco: ▪ Tobacco, when chewed or inhaled in any form, is bad for your teeth. ▪ The tobacco residue settles on the top part of the tooth, which can discolor them.

  4. 3. Following poor oral-care routine:  Dentists advise all their patients to floss their teeth after every meal to remove food debris.  Lack of brushing and flossing can contribute to discoloring your teeth.  Visit a dentist to derive a healthy oral-care routine that will never let your teeth and gum areas get affected in the future. 4. A side effect of medication:  Certain medicines that are prescribed by the doctor can discolor the teeth. 5. Genetics:  If none of the above-mentioned reasons have been causing yellowed teeth, then it could be your genes.  Check if your grand-parents had tooth discoloration defects and if yes, then fix an appointment with a cosmetic dentist to remove the stains as early as possible.
