Life and Culture of the Sioux and Cheyenne Tribes of the Great Plains

This overview explores the daily life of the Sioux and Cheyenne tribes in the Great Plains. It details their diet, consisting of bison, wild rice, elk, deer, and farming practices. Their shelters, primarily teepees, were made from buffalo hides and suited for nomadic lifestyles. Clothing worn by Sioux men and women was crafted from deerskin and elk skin.
